3. CREATE A NATIONAL REGISTER.​
WHERE HAS MY WORK BEEN USED TO APPLY FOR PUBLIC MONEY?

Every artist should be able to answer that question.

Create a secure national register showing every public funding application in which an artist or organisation has been materially included.

The information already exists.

Let the artist see it.

4. GIVE ARTISTS A RIGHT TO SEE THEIR PART.​

Artists don't need access to somebody else's confidential information.

But they should have a legal right to inspect the parts of applications, budgets and reports that concern their own work.

That's not control.

That's accountability.

Find a solution.

Early intervention. Not punishment.

6. STOP MAKING ESTABLISHED INSTITUTIONS THE ONLY GATEWAY.
NEW ARTISTS NEED DIRECT ACCESS TO PUBLIC FUNDING.

You cannot demand a long institutional history from an organisation that is still building one, and then force it to depend on established institutions because it doesn't have that history.

Create dedicated funding routes for emerging cultural organisations.

Judge them on:

Artistic quality.
Public value.
Feasibility.
Capability.
Potential.

Not age.
